Originally hailing from Argentina, Mario comes to Denver by way of Miami, a culinary mecca. His style is simple and straightforward...but his presentation is always elegant. Chef Katherine Keeley Pappas apprenticed to a master French baker and travelled to Martigues, France where she worked in a Provençal patisserie-boulangerie under the tutelage of Algerian, Spanish and French chefs. Her clients often say that her pastries, cakes and cookies remind them of the French pastries they have tasted around the world...whether in Paris or Tokyo or Berlin...those beautiful forms of food art that are not overly sweet but full of flavor.
